We collect only what we need to compare loan offers for you and to run your account. This page explains what that is, and what you can do about it.
1. Who we are
This policy explains how Money Dosti (“MoneyDosti”, “we”, “us”) handles your personal information on this website. MoneyDosti is a comparison and referral platform. We are not a bank, NBFC or lender. When you choose to apply for a loan or a card, you leave our site and deal directly with the lender, whose own privacy policy then applies.
2. Information we collect
- When you check loan eligibility: your name, mobile number, email address, the credit score you tell us (self-declared; we do not pull your credit report), your employment type and the loan amount you selected.
- When you sign in: your email address and the one-time code we send to it. We keep a sign-in cookie on your device (see our Cookie Policy).
- When you apply through a lender: which lender you chose and when, so we can show it under “My applications”.
- When you apply to become a partner: your name, mobile number, email, city, whether you apply as an individual or a business, the business name (if any) and what you are interested in.
- Consent records: that you agreed to our terms and to sharing your details with lending partners, and when.
- Technical information: standard server logs (such as IP address, browser and pages requested) created by our hosting provider. If you accept analytics and advertising cookies, our analytics and advertising tags also collect usage information.
3. Why we use it
- To show you loan offers that fit the details you gave, and to create and secure your account.
- To pass your details to the lending partner you choose, where you have agreed to this.
- To contact you about your request, and to send you the one-time code and account emails.
- To review partner applications and keep our records of them.
- To keep the service secure, prevent misuse and meet legal obligations.
- To measure how the site is used and the performance of our advertising, only if you accept analytics and advertising cookies.
4. Who we share it with
Lending partners you choose to apply with, only for processing your request. We do not sell your personal information.
Service providers that help us run the site, under their own terms: Google (spreadsheets and email delivery for our records and messages), our website hosting provider, and, only if you accept cookies, Google Tag Manager and Meta (Facebook) Pixel.

5. Your choices and rights
Under applicable Indian data protection law you can ask to access your information, correct it, have it erased, withdraw a consent you gave, and make a complaint. Withdrawing consent does not affect what we did before you withdrew it.

You can change your cookie choice at any time with “Cookie settings” in the page footer.
6. How long we keep it
We keep your information for 1 year after your last activity, or longer where the law requires.
7. Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, such as encrypted connections, restricted access and signed, tamper-resistant sign-in cookies. No system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Children
This site is meant for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
9. Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle your information we will update this page and its “Last updated” date.
